I loved most everything about this cookbook. Here are the especially nice points:• The author has organized the book, and each recipe well• Each dish is accessible directly from the TOC or from the first page of each section• Each recipe includes information as to serving quantity; prep time; cook time; and other useful points.•She then includes a blurb about the dish, or her experiences/insight or whatever. This is a nice touch.Following the instructions, she includes a tip. For example, for Spiralized sweet potato nests with baked eggs, she advises how to freeze spiralized sweet potatoes and how to thaw them.Lastly, for each recipe, she provides the per-serving nutritional information.IMPROVEMENTS I WOULD LOVE TO SEE-Although several of the dishes do include color photographs (at the section divisions, not always at the specific dish), more photographs would enhance the layout and pique viewer interest, I think.More importantly, however, I think readability would be enhanced if the writer kept all text in black and white. Using colored text doesn’t work as well in Kindle, especially if the reader is using, say, a Kindle Paperwhite or some other, older model kindle reading device. Perhaps I am being picky here, but I am speaking my mind.BOTTOM LINE“The Healthy Sheet Pan Cookbook†by Ruthy Kirwan is a fresh new concept in home cooking that is so simple, I found myself wondering why nobody had worked this concept before now.Four stars out of five.I am striving to produce reviews that help you find books that you want, or avoid books that you wish to avoid. Practical. Useable. Easy. I have looked at and owned a lot of cookbooks in my life. This is one of maybe 3 that I absolutely LOVE! Great variety. Easy to follow. Just like the story in the Preface, wonderful recipes for the busy, frazzled cook in the house!I PURCHASED this cookbook. I did NOT receive a free copy.
In this day and age, I’m not sure why a cookbook is published without a picture for each recipe. Disappointed!
Great recipes.A LOT of variety , which is a crucial ingredient to me.Full of valuable information.Just an all-around winner!The only negAtive I can see is that there isn't a photo for each recipe. The is a photo at the beginning of each section (which has become a common practice , it seems), but, I would really love to see a photo of each recipe. Even if it's just a quick one taken sitting on the stove before it's served to a group of taste testers.) But, maybe that's just me.
The veg recipes are probably tasty. However, with their heavy reliance on cheese, they are not healthy. The other recipes do look better.
Enjoyed exploring the cookbook and plan to make many of the recipes. All the recipes look simple, tasty and satisfying
Lots of easy + new recipes---- I have 3 large + 1 guarter sheet pans and only used them for cookies--- now a whole new world gonna happen😄
Great recipes for simple, easy, and delicious meals that are delicious and quick to prepare. The photos are beautiful and the book is durable, it's nice to have it out on my shelf for easy reference and grabbing when I am ready to meal plan or cook. Our family has found that we really enjoy tangible cookbooks (instead of just looking at recipes on a phone), it's easy to share and always convenient to pull off the shelf. Highly recommend, especially the kielbasa recipe!
