My 1&1/2 year old LOVES this book! I read it to him in a "country" accent and he thinks it's funny. He carries it around with him all day and I read it about 800+ times a day. He also likes doing the motions for the truck horn "UUURNNT UUUURNT", the wipers "shhwatt shhwatt shhwatt", and the swerving left and right. I think it's a great children's book and you can actually learn quite a bit about "big rigs"! We actually misplaced his first copy of it, so I had to buy another. But he's definitely glad we did!

For a truck loving kid this book is awesome. My son first read it at the library after checking it out 4 or 5 times in a row and having to read it 5 or 6 times before bed I decided it was a must have. It has a cute story line about making a delivery and tells about the parts and noises an 18 wheeler makes.

Frankie is a Big Rig with a giant personality. Swenson capitalizes on the great sounds that trucks make, which I'm sure she's learned are fun to make with a room full of kids, in her work as a children's librarian. Ned Young's illustrations are perfect, leading readers through an exciting cross country voyage, guided by an onomatopoeia GPS. The coloful pictures and wonderful language make this book an excellent choice for any truck or machine crazy youngster. Another winner, make sure to also check out Swenson's "Boom! Boom! Boom!," which lead me here.

My 2-year-old great grandson loves this book! He has to have it read to him at least four times a day. The pages are thick enough and construction sturdy enough that he also can "read" it himself.

Well illustrated. Easily my 2.5 yr olds favorite book. The story is easy for me to read and easy for my son to memorize. It contains several parts that encourage interaction, wiper blades, pulling on a horn, swerving. Its a great book we had to stop borrowing it from the library and just buy it.

Super cute book! Received one as a gift and ended up buying another for a friend who’s husband also drives truck for their little boy. Love the trucker dictionary in the back! Super adorable
