Beginning was promising: harsh, abuse, slow pace but then in half way both characters got just a bit too loveydov. Just too easy and what's the idea of making the omega "hostage" like 3 times and dragon saves the day, just repetition.
This story was MAGNIFICENT. Not only the setting but the story itself was like a wonderful romance I would've read, when I first started reading romance as a young teenager. This was sooo much better because it was a beautiful M/M romance. Lucas and Vasile are FANTASTIC characters. I hope that everyone that reads this book, will enjoy it as much as I did. It's not too heavy. The characters are handsome and hot for each other. The greatest part about it, is them falling in love. Anticipation like books of ole is key. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
Good story line but a shame that the story is so short (as all the mpreg are). There wasn't a lot of character development - they were just who they were. I love the mpreg concept and am interested in each author's execution of it. The pregnancy thing I get but the birthing part is always....huh? Wish someone would figure out a way to explain it better.
Reading this story for a second time still love every moment of it . The scenery is so clear i feel like i can see it.
Not what I was expecting; plus a couple of unexpected surprises. I would definitely read more from this author. Thanks

Another great book by Kian Rhodes.I love how she describes the characters feelings. Both of their feelings, not just Lucas (the omega) but also Vasile (the alpha) feelings.Lucas is a human omega abandoned when he was a baby and raised by the church. Lucas, like other omegas were taken to a omega house after he left the orfanage. There he was forced into prostituition and end up pregnant with one of the clients. Omegas did not have much rights or any much way of survive, specially a single human omega. Desperate he travels to find baby's father but end up finding his bother instead.There are a lot of conflits, specially in the begining due to the way both, the omega and the alpha were raised and their perspective of how things should be.I am not going to tell more to not spoile the book.I definity recommend this book.
I love Kian Rhodes's books and this one is no exception. There are many things I like about this book but first off is the setting. I read a lot of historical fiction and if the setting doesn't catch the feel of the era, nothing in the book will feel right. Kian captures the essence of Medievil England to a T. She also keeps true to the Alpha/Omega omegaverse tenets as you would expect from one of her book. Lucas is an omega raised by "the Church" and we find him in the Omega House selling his body for coins, food and shelter. Turns out there is a whole network of Omega Houses keeping omegas as prostitutes. Visile is the brother of the alpha who impregnates Lucas. I started out disliking Visile but that quickly turned around as I read further into the book. Several important plot points evolve quietly as the story unfolds which makes each discovery so important. I'm not going to take the chance of destroying your journey of discovery. As you would except, there is an HEA with a very satisfying revenge.
