How does it work?

The application of Rat Vanisher temporarily affects the mucous membrane of rats. The rats after a long exposure gradually starts developing a fear to the smell and hence the area where it is applied.

The fear is well communicated with the other rats. As a result, its application can keep away other rats also from the area for a long time.

How does the product help in controlling rat population?

It is found that access to food or harvesting season facilitates high breeding rates in rats. Therefore, cutting access to food can bring down rat population

Rat Vanisher is available in two forms – liquid and cake. Rat Vanisher liquid was introduced in the market in October 2006 while the cake was launched during January 2008. Rat Vanisher liquid is available in Mohanam's (sister concern of Cygnet) PET bottles comes in two quantities - 100 ml and 500 ml. A 100 ml bottle is sufficient for up to 1000 square feet area and costs Rs.80. The cost of a 500 ml bottle is Rs.385.

The cake form is available in a virgin plastic container. A 15 gm cake (packed in one container) can be used for an area of 250-300 square feet. M.R.P of Rat Vanisher cake is Rs.25.

How to Use:

Rat Vanisher Liquid : Soak the Rat Vanisher solution in a small piece of cloth at night and keep it in the infested area for 10 alternate days (ie; totaling to 20 days).

Rat Vanisher Cake : Remove the outer cover and the sticker around the container and keep it in the infested area for exactly 20 days. The smell lasts for a maximum of 20 days only.
